Welcome to Enhancing Learning

Since 2017 we have been quietly growing a unique approach to supporting children and families in the regional town of Mandurah in Western Australia. At the heart of what we wanted to create was play and inclusivity. As Directors we wanted to create a place that embraced our personal learning journeys as therapists and teachers. Most importantly we wanted to merge the approaches from therapy and education in a way that centred the child’s current skills and respected their own personal rate of learning progress.

So now the Enhancing Learning Centre exists. An incredible team of people work with us in the play space. Children get to play and practise the skills they need, alongside and with other children who are also building their own skills.

Since we started we have implemented a set of frameworks and techniques that are firmly evidence informed from Kendra’s years of experience as a Speech Pathologist and Manager of a wide range of interprofessional* teams. Our next phase is sharing our approach with more families, therapists and educators as we launch our book Growing Great Human Beings.
